This qualification develops understanding about neuroscience in the early years, specifically covering, neuroscience of early brain development, neurons and their main functions, synaptogenesis,  and how the social brain develops.

It also provides information and understanding of self-regulation and how to nurture this in children from birth to seven years, an essential skill for helping children to positively access learning and social relationships.

This training enables the coach to know how to best support the social-emotional learning and well-being of Highly Sensitive Children professionally, through a practical and integrative framework and tools.  It provides the knowledge and skills needed to be an advocate for Highly Sensitive Children and enables the coach to support and educate others about HSP/HSC too.

It provides a framework to support common issues such as overwhelm, and anxiety and also due to HSPs/HSCs often being more intuitive, empathetic and sensitive to the world around them, includes a deep understanding of how to best approach their social-emotional well-being in a slightly different way. These children often feel misunderstood, which unfortunately can lead to further setbacks with their self-esteem and confidence.

Evidence based, and founded in neuroscience principals, designed and developed by a leading neuroscientist in South Africa and used by the executive function at MIT. This coaching certificate covers all the essential knowledge and skills required to explain, communicate and coach the key and fundamental domains and drivers which drive high performance and build resilience, through a better understanding and management of our brain body balance. Understanding that everything is connected to everything and how to help individuals to optimise that is a critical aspect of this certificate.

Currently I am coaching and mentoring senior and accomplished Executives on a pro bono basis as part of the practical  aspect of the qualification.  Feedback so far has been exceptionally positive and encouraging in respect of the value and impact the coaching and mentoring has enabled for participants.
